In the wake of Vanessa Guillen’s disappearance and subsequent murder, I created a one stop shop for advocating military and veteran issues in the legislative world. It felt like if I could help one person, this work was worth it.
What inspires me?
Personally, I fight for the those that are often voiceless. In the military, the voiceless are those without any power, so basically anyone with the ranks of E4 and below. Veterans often feel the same because it seems like the whole world are against them, especially those that should be helping them, i.e., the Department of Veteran Affairs.
