My Nonfiction Works

So far, the majority of my publicly published works have been in political journalism.

I own my own website/blog called Veteran Legislative Voice: https://vetslegislativevets.org

I also write for the Chicago Crusader under my own name and the Veteran Legislative Voice.

The Veteran Legislative Voice appears on America Hero’s Group regularly every second Saturday at 6:30 pm EST, and sometimes fill in on other weekends as well. They live stream on Facebook, records their shows and post them as podcasts.

This is my opinion article in response to a judge telling a newly convicted former correctional officer who raped one of his inmates that he should go into the Army to straighten his life out. https://www.state-journal.com/opinion/letter-army-is-not-the-place-for-sexual-predators/article_691a67da-7ec8-11ec-8d10-dfba3ce9532f.html

I have also submitted my own personal story related to military sexual trauma to an organization I often partner with. I believe that it’s important to share those stories so that survivors feel less alone.
